Instructor: Vipul Modi - Based out of Singapore, Vipul is a key member of Citilabs support team for last 6 years and has developed travel demand and micro-simulation models for clients in the United States, Europe and Asia. He was an integral member of the Transportation Institute at University of Florida for 5 years with focus on traffic operations and research studies. Vipul obtained a master’s degree from University of Florida, Gainesville and a bachelor’s from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), Mumbai.

Thanks to the support of Dr. Dimantha De Silva, Citilabs is pleased to offer this opportunity to learn how to do travel demand modeling using Cube in Sri Lanka.  The language of the training will be English.  We welcome all our existing Cube users and those who are interested in learning more about Cube in Sri Lanka to attend.  Special welcome is extended to international participants of the East Asia Society for Transportation Studies (EASTS) conference.  If you are attending this year’s EASTS in Colombo Sep. 9-12, you should consider arriving a few days early to take advantage of this training.

Pre-Requisite: Attendees should have some basic knowledge of travel demand modeling.

    • Ridership forecast
    • Mapping and outputs from PT
  • OD Estimation using Cube Analyst
