TRAFFIC ANALYTICS MANAGER - Tallahassee

Want to be part of something innovative in transportation analysis? Citilabs is figuring out how, when and where people travel throughout the world by harnessing emerging sensor data and applying this information to solve real-world problems faced by private enterprise and government.

Our team in Tallahassee is focused on the collection and analysis of traffic data from government and private sources. We are seeking an experienced traffic or transportation engineer to serve as the on-site technical lead. This person will be responsible for all tasks associated with this effort.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in civil or transportation engineering
  • A strong understanding of how traffic data are collected, adjusted and analyzed
  • Great communications skills, a positive attitude and an incredible work ethic enabling you to oversee and lead a large team of non-experts sourcing and collecting data
  • A passion to improve the quality and efficiency of how we collect and analyze traffic data
  • Good familiarity with GIS software
  • The ability to work well with the head of software engineering to design and improve our in-house software tools to support these tasks

SENIOR & JUNIOR CONSULTANT - Atlanta, Georgia

 

Citilabs seeks two qualified candidates to join its Atlanta office. The positions involve performing transportation and land use planning studies using Cube. The focus is on travel forecasting activities, but may include other aspects of transport planning. Experience with GIS, land use models, programming skills (Python, Visual Basic, C++), model estimation, SPSS/SAS are a plus. Candidates for these positions should be self-motivated with a strong capability for independent problem solving, a broad range of research and analysis skills, and a special interest in transportation. Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, mathematics, geography, or science required; Master's degree preferred. The two positions are:

  1. Senior Engineer (10-15 years experience)
  2. Junior Engineer (3-5 years experience).

TRANSPORTATION MODELERS - Sacramento & Tallahassee

 

Citilabs is recruiting transportation modelers for our offices in Sacramento, California and Tallahassee, Florida.  Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on practical experience in transportation modeling, have advanced knowledge in the theory of modeling transportation systems, and experienced in the use of Cube Voyager and it’s scripting language.

 

Minimum requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or Transportation Planning
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Cube Voyager
  • 2+ years of experience in developing or applying transportation models
  • Good written and oral communication skills

FULL-TIME TRANSPORT MODELLER - Manchester, UK

 

The successful candidate will support Citilabs’ growth in the European and African market by providing technical support response and training for our flagship product Cube. They will play a crucial role in structuring future development, help our services department in the preparation of bids and occasionally represent Citilabs at exhibitions and conferences around Europe. For the day to day duties the individual will be supported by US and Asia-based user support teams and report directly to Citilabs’ Cube Product Manager in Europe. This is a full-time position.

  • Strong written, oral, and presentation communications skills in English (other language skills will be of benefit)
  • Self-managed, self-motivated, ability to work independently, strong customer and business focus
  • Have a willingness to travel both domestically and overseas
  • Be eligible to work full-time in the UK

The successful candidate will support Citilabs’ growth by raising awareness on the application of our products through creating and publishing material to be distributed globally. They will liaise with users of our software and facilitate collaboration and co-creation to build content on how it is used across many different disciplines. They will strive to provide thought-provoking and stimulating material that best demonstrates the amazing work that is undertaken world-wide using our solutions.

During day to day duties the individual will be supported by Citilabs staff world-wide and will report directly to a Global Account Director. This position will suit someone looking for a full or part-time role with the possibility of working remotely. Freelancers will be considered.
